Cold water system NTC temperature sensor quality detection

　　(1) Measure resistance value (open circuit detection)

　　The two wires of the NTC temperature sensor in the cold water system are connected to the electronic control unit, one of which is the ground wire, and the ground voltage of the other wire changes with the resistance of the thermistor. Turn the ignition off and unplug the coolant temperature sensor harness connector. Remove the sensor from the engine. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the two terminals of the cold water system NTC sensor and the sensor housing. The resistance value should be infinite. Put the cold water system NTC temperature sensor in a beaker with water and use an electric heater to heat the water in the beaker. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the two terminals of the sensor.

　　(2) Measure power supply voltage and signal voltage (on-board detection)

　　Unplug the NTC temperature sensor of the cold water system, turn on the ignition switch, and measure the power supply voltage of the ECU (sensor power supply voltage), that is, the voltage between the THW~£2 terminals should be 5V. Otherwise, there is a problem with the circuit or ECU. Connect the cold water system NTC temperature sensor, turn on the ignition switch, and measure the signal voltage H of the cold water system NTC temperature sensor. The voltage between BPTHW and the terminal should be 02~05V (this value is related to temperature).
