      The thermistor of the negative temperature coefficient (NTC) refers to the heating resistance phenomenon and material with a decrease in the index relationship with the temperature rising resistor and the negative temperature coefficient. This material is a semiconductor ceramics made of manganese, copper, silicon, cobalt, iron, nickel, zinc and other two or more metal oxides, which are fully mixed, molded, sintering and other processes, which can make negative temperature coefficients (NTC) Thermal resistance. Its resistivity and material constant change with different material composition ratio, burning atmosphere, sintering temperature and structural state. There are also non -oxide NTC thermistor materials represented by silicon carbide, selenium tin, and nitride.

      The development of NTC thermistor has gone through a long stage. In 1834, scientists first discovered the characteristics of silver sulfide. In 1930, scientists discovered that copper-oxide-copper-oxide also had the performance of negative temperature coefficients, and successfully applied it to the temperature compensation circuit of the aviation instrument. Subsequently, due to the continuous development of transistor technology, the research of heat -sensitive resistors made significant progress. The NTC thermistor was developed in 1960. NTC thermistor is widely used in temperature measurement, temperature control, temperature compensation and other aspects.
