      The NiFe alloy NTCLE350E4 sensor wire thermal conductivity is currently the lowest on the market. Therefore, the thermal gradient of the device is less than 0.01 K/K (or 1 %), almost no heat is emitted to the surrounding environment, and high-precision temperature measurement can be performed, which is several orders of magnitude better than other wire materials such as copper. For enhanced reliability in high humidity conditions, the sensor PEEK insulated leads have a high bond strength to the encapsulation epoxy. The maximum diameter of the NTC detection core is 2.4 mm, and the fast response time in air is 6 seconds.

      The NTCLE350E4 features high accuracy, fast response, and high temperature capability for internal combustion engine coolant, fuel, manifold gas pressure (MAP/TMAP) sensors, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. In electric traction motors, devices can be potted or molded into sensors to protect high-current connectors. In addition to exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) applications, the NTCLE350E4 can also be used as an oil temperature sensor (OTS) for transmission systems and liquid-cooled starter-generator systems.

      The sensor is RoHS compliant with a resistance value of 2.1 kW to 30 kΩ at +25 °C (R25) with a tolerance of 1 % and a beta value (B25/85) of 3435 K to 3984 K with a tolerance of ± 0.5 %. The maximum power consumption of the device is 100 mW, which improves the resistance to toxic gases and acids.
