    How to choose 10k and 100k ntc thermistor.Microwave Radar Sensor wholesaler

      An NTC thermistor is a type of sensor that converts temperature changes into electrical signals. NTC thermistor is small in size, fast in response, high in power, long in life, high in reliability, wide in working range, strong in suppressing surge current, etc. Its superior performance has won the favor of the public.

      10K and 100K refer to the different resistance values of the thermistor, so how should we choose 10K and 100K NTC thermistors?

      First determine the temperature of use, and then determine the manufacturing materials used

      The difference between NTC thermistor 10K and 100K is mainly in the following three aspects

      1) The use temperature is different

      10K NTC thermistors are mainly used in low temperature product applications, generally below 80 °C, while 100K NTC thermistors are generally used in high temperature product applications, generally in a high temperature environment of 100-250 °C.

      2) Different manufacturing materials

      The 10K NTC thermistor is normally encapsulated with epoxy resin, while the 100K NTC thermistor is encapsulated with glass, which is more suitable for stable use in high temperature environments.

      3) The resistance value of the resistor is different

      At a temperature of 25°C, the nominal resistance of a 10K NTC thermistor is 10KΩ, and the common B value is 3435K; the nominal resistance of a 100K NTC thermistor is 100KΩ, and the common B value is 3950K.
