      The temperature control switch is divided into mechanical type and electronic type. Electronic temperature control switches generally use a thermistor (NTC) as a temperature sensing head. The resistance of the thermistor changes with temperature changes, converting thermal signals into electrical signals. This change passes through the CPU, generates and outputs a control signal, and pushes the control element to act. The mechanical temperature control switch uses the principle of bimetal or temperature medium (such as kerosene or glycerin) and thermal expansion and cold contraction to convert the temperature change into mechanical force and promote the action of the temperature control switch control mechanism.       Mechanical temperature control switches are divided into bimetal temperature control switches and liquid expansion thermostats (Liquid Expansion Thermostat). Bimetal temperature switches usually have the following names:

      Thermostat, thermostat, thermostat, jump thermostat, thermostat, thermal protector, motor protector and thermostat, etc. The English names usually include: Thermostat, Thermal Switch, Thermal Protector, Thermal Cutoff, Thermal Limiter, etc.

      According to the influence of temperature and current, the temperature control switch is divided into over-temperature protection type and over-current and over-temperature protection type. Motor protectors are usually over-temperature and over-current protection types.

      According to the difference between the action temperature and the reset temperature of the temperature control switch (also called temperature difference or temperature amplitude) (Differential), it is divided into protection type and constant temperature type. The temperature difference of the protected temperature control switch is usually 15 ℃ to 45 ℃. The temperature difference of the thermostat is usually controlled within 10°C. Thermostats are divided into slow-action thermostats (Creep Action) (temperature difference within 2°C) and snap-action thermostats (temperature difference between 2-10°C).

      According to the normal state of the contacts of the temperature control switch, it is divided into a normally closed temperature control switch (Normally Closed) and a normally open temperature control switch (Normally Open). When the temperature rises, the contact of the temperature control switch is disconnected as a normally closed type. When the temperature rises, the contact closure of the temperature control switch is normally open.

      According to the reset method, it is divided into automatic reset type (Auto Reset) and manual reset type (Manual Reset). If the reset temperature is -20℃ or lower, it is not possible to reset the thermostat (One Shot).

      Liquid expansion thermostat is divided into thermostat (Thermostat) and temperature limiter (Thermal Limiter).
