Batteries are the core components of electric bicycles. People are in the driver's seat when driving electric bicycles, making it difficult to detect issues such as battery heating in a timely manner. During the driving or charging process of an electric bicycle, battery failure or collision with the vehicle body will cause heating and heating, and sealing the battery in the narrow internal space of the electric vehicle is not conducive to heat dissipation, which is highly likely to cause a fire. Therefore, a battery temperature monitoring system is required to monitor the temperature.
The dynamic temperature monitoring system for lithium-ion batteries in electric bicycles is composed of an FPGA chip, data memory, battery protection switch, four NTC temperature sensors installed in the lithium-ion battery pack of electric bicycles, environmental temperature sensors placed on the surface of the battery box, and a temperature monitoring system alarm placed on the surface of the battery box.
The NTC temperature sensor inside the lithium-ion battery pack of electric bicycles mainly monitors the real-time temperature changes of the battery under different environmental temperatures, and sends a power outage alarm based on the abnormal conditions collected. Avoiding safety hazards caused by battery temperature monitoring defects during driving and charging of electric bicycles, and improving safety.
