Energy storage systems typically consist of dozens or even hundreds of modules, and when a single battery unit experiences thermal runaway, it is likely to lead to the spread of fire between the entire modules. Due to the large scale of the energy storage system, the probability of a single thermal runaway event occurring is also high.

Through monitoring and warning systems, abnormal heat accumulation and temperature rise precursors of batteries can be detected in a timely manner. The NTC temperature sensor has the characteristics of high reliability, good stability, high sensitivity, and high accuracy. It is suitable for installation inside the energy storage system to monitor whether the temperature of the energy storage battery pack is within the alarm temperature range. If the temperature exceeds the predetermined range, the temperature alarm signal is sent to the energy storage system, which isolates the circuits between each battery pack and controls the fault at a single point. The NTC temperature sensor is an important electronic component in the safety of energy storage systems.
