　　NTC thermistors are semiconductor ceramic components with a very large negative temperature coefficient. They are mainly made of metal oxides such as manganese, cobalt, nickel, and are sintered at high temperatures. The resistance value changes with the ambient temperature or due to self heating generated by current, that is, under a certain measurement power, the resistance value decreases with the increase of temperature. By utilizing this feature, NTC thermistors can be measured to determine the corresponding temperature, thereby achieving the purpose of temperature detection and control.

When the surface temperature of the evaporator is higher than the set maximum temperature limit, the compressor starts working. This precisely utilizes the characteristics of temperature sensors, where the resistance value decreases with increasing temperature. This can prevent the air conditioning pipes from freezing.
