The third-generation NTC thermistor product has undergone significant changes in structure and manufacturing process. This product is a thick film structure. It adopts a mature thick film manufacturing process and prints a thicker (30uM) layer on a ceramic substrate. NTC ceramic material, coupled with a special electrode structure, and then sintered. The features of this product are as follows:
1. The overall thickness of the product is only half of the first and second generation products, and the response time to temperature is extremely fast.
2. Due to the thick film structure, the thermal shock caused by welding is very small, which is suitable for applications requiring high stability and reliability.
3. Resistance correction can be performed, and the temperature detection accuracy in the full temperature range can be ±0.1 °C.
4. The adjustment of the resistance value and B value of the product is less affected by the size and is more flexible.
5. The special end electrode structure can release the mechanical stress caused by thermal shock and circuit board bending, and the bending test has little effect on the performance of the product.
6. Safe working mode, when thermal collapse occurs, it will be disconnected safely, and the product will not be overheated.
7. The product shows very good stability and reliability under the reliability test of double 85, high temperature, low temperature and thermal shock and other harsh environments.
8. Thick film NTC products have high cost performance and are likely to become the mainstream NTC chip thermistor products in the future.
