The power bank mainly has four management processes: pre-charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging, and maintenance charging. Each management process is extremely important for temperature control. To better manage and control this temperature, NTC thermistors must be used for monitoring and control. NTC thermistors monitor battery temperature and prevent temperature rise due to excessive current when used in smart protection circuits. Monitor battery level with voltage measurement. The NTC thermistor monitors the upper and lower temperature limits of the power bank to achieve fast charging, especially the fast charging of lithium battery power banks. Temperature-controlled charging increases the number of possible charge and discharge cycles (Figure 1), enhances safety and maximizes battery capacity. There are several ways to monitor the temperature of the charging process.
The resistance of this NTC thermistor is 1 to 20kOhm, and the most cost-effective parameters are 10K and 100K. This high-accuracy NTC temperature sensor provides ±1°C or better accuracy over the temperature range of -30 to 105°C for precise temperature monitoring of batteries. In developing new NTC thermistors with advanced technology, we have fully utilized our high precision ceramic NTC chips and years of industry experience. NTC chip technology with moving electrodes ensures high temperature stability, low resistance drift (less than 1%) during soldering, and long-term operational stability.
