      Cold water system NTC temperature sensor

      The principle of the NTC temperature sensor of the cold water system: the slender head of the NTC temperature sensor of the engine cooling system is in contact with the coolant, and a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient is installed inside. When the engine cold water temperature gradually increases, the resistance of the thermistor will gradually decrease, and vice versa. Therefore, when the engine cold water temperature changes, the output voltage of the sensor also changes. After the ECU receives the signal from the cold water NTC temperature sensor, it corrects the fuel injection time and ignition time of the engine.

      The function of the cold water system NTC temperature sensor is to provide the engine cold water temperature signal to the ECU as a correction signal for fuel injection and ignition timing control. The cold water NTC temperature sensor signal is also the control signal of other control systems (such as EGR, etc.). The cold water NTC temperature sensor is installed in the water jacket or coolant line of the engine block, and is in contact with the cold water to detect the cold water temperature of the engine. After the ECU receives the temperature signal, it corrects the fuel injection time and ignition time.
